PHOENIX (AP) - The Arizona Supreme Court will overview a decrease court ruling that stated younger immigrants granted deferred deportation standing underneath a program began by way of former President Barack Obama don't seem to be eligible for decrease in-state school tuition.
Tuesday’s choice comes on an attraction by way of the Maricopa Community Colleges District, which received an preliminary ruling in its desire in 2015 that was once overturned by way of the state appeals court in June.
The appeals court ruling stated the 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program referred to as DACA didn't confer prison standing and every state can make a decision on non-compulsory advantages for DACA recipients. Arizona legislation bars public advantages equivalent to in-state tuition for the ones with out prison standing.
