Arrested witness returns to stand at trial of ex-Cuomo aide

NEW YORK (AP) - The govt’s prize witness at the bribery trial of an established best aide to Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has returned to the witness stand after being arrested final week.

Jurors heard a legal professional for former Cuomo aide Joseph Percoco blasting Todd Howe on Tuesday with questions on allegedly violating his bail stipulations.

His arrest got here after he testified that he violated the phrases of his cooperation settlement when he lied to a bank card corporate to check out to get it to take away a $600 price for an evening he spent at a luxurious Manhattan resort.

His arrest used to be an odd building as a result of he hadn’t completed attesting at the New York City trial of Percoco and 3 businessmen.

Percoco’s legal professional says Howe tells too many lies to be believed.
