NEW YORK (AP) - U.S. Rep. Nydia Velazquez has invited the wife of detained immigrant rights activist Ravi Ragbir to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union deal with.
Ragbir used to be in federal custody Saturday, a number of weeks after he used to be arrested all the way through a regimen check-in with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement company.
On Saturday, Velazquez, a Democrat, joined Ragbir’s wife, Amy Gottlieb, and different elected officers at a rally in entrance of the Manhattan place of job development that properties ICE.
