Donald Trump apologizes for retweeting far-right British group

President Trump presented an apology for retweeting unverified movies from a far-right group in Britain ultimate 12 months in a preview of his upcoming interview with British host Piers Morgan.

“I am a big believer in fighting radical, Islamic terror. This was a depiction of radical Islamic terror,” Mr. Trump stated of the retweets.

The president retweeted 3 movies in November from the group, British First, referred to as an “ultra-nationalist” group. The movies, which might be unverified, confirmed Muslims attacking other people and smashing a statue of the Virgin Mary. Mr. Trump defined to Mr. Moran that he didn't know the group was once affiliated with radical and racist perspectives.

“If you’re telling me these are horrible people, horrible racist people, I would certainly apologize if you’d like me to do that,” Mr. Trump stated.
