FBI: Bank robbery suspect apparently killed himself in home

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - The FBI says a standoff involving a financial institution robbery suspect ended with the person’s loss of life when he apparently shot himself in his Albuquerque home.

FBI spokesman Frank Fisher says 44-year-old Christopher Tracy Schlarb used to be on my own on the time and that no regulation enforcement officials fired their guns right through the standoff Friday.

Fisher says FBI brokers and Albuquerque law enforcement officials had attempted to arrest Schlarb on a federal criticism charging him with Albuquerque financial institution robberies on Dec. five and Jan. 11.

According to Fisher, Schlarb refused to depart his home and unmarried gunshot used to be heard after government attempted to barter his give up.

Fisher says an post-mortem shall be carried out to formally resolve the reason for loss of life.
