John N. Kennedy wishes Trump would’ve addressed net neutrality, Russia sanctions in speech

Sen. John N. Kennedy stated Wednesday that he would’ve preferred President Trump to the touch on net neutrality and be offering an reason for a loss of enforcement on Russia sanctions in his State of the Union deal with.

“I wished he talked more about a topic that’s very alive on Capitol Hill, net neutrality. And I wished he’d talked about sanctions on the Russians and explained to us why he is not immediately imposing the sanctions,” Mr. Kennedy, Louisiana Republican, stated on CNN.

He stated Mr. Trump wishes to provide an explanation for to Congress why he hasn’t acted at the sanctions powers Congress handed overwhelmingly ultimate 12 months, bearing in mind how Russian President Vladimir Putin has acted.

“I think President Putin has acted, for the past five years, like a thug,” Mr. Kennedy stated.
