Natalie Portman dares you to say something bad about the Star Wars prequel trilogy on SNL

When actress Natalie Portman first hosted Saturday Night Live in 2006, considered one of her extra memorable sketches used to be a rap video through which she poked a laugh at her symbol as a good function fashion with a rap about preventing, consuming, and dishonest at Harvard. Portman returned to host the display final night time, and revived the caricature with some up to date references, in addition to a pointed protection of the Star Wars prequels.

In the unique caricature, Portman used to be interviewed through Chris Parnell, which ended with him getting bashed through a chair. This new video opens with SNL common Beck Bennett telling her that he heard that issues were given a bit of out of keep an eye on when she used to be final on the display. Portman launches into her rap, announcing that there’s one large exchange between her first look and now: she’s a mom now, and she or he’s been snacking on Tide Pods.

When Bennett asks if she’s noticed the newest Star Wars movies, she cuts him off when he starts to say that they’re higher than the prequels, prompting her to threaten any individual with a gun whilst in complete Padmé Amidala throne room garb, telling them to say something great about the prequels and Jar Jar Binks.

Portman headlined a few different sketches as smartly: one about a Star Trek-esque inter-species romance that hits a street bump, and a take on the unusual powers and awkward adolescent crushes in Netflix’s Stranger Things.
