RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police have arrested a suspect in a murder that can have stemmed from a stolen-weapons deal gone bad involving weapons and explosive caps taken from a regulation enforcement company in California.
Police arrested 34-year-old Michael Kizer in Sparks Thursday and charged him with open murder in Tuesday’s deadly capturing of 37-year-old Patrick McDaniel in an condominium parking space east of the Peppermill hotel-casino.
Police stated Friday they decided McDaniel was once in ownership of firearms, ammunition and explosive caps stolen from California regulation officials previous to the capturing.
Sgt. KC Myers stated McDaniel and a pal transported the stolen pieces to satisfy with Kizer as a part of a gross sales transaction however Kizer produced a gun and shot McDaniel a couple of instances.
