Supporters rally for Providence mother detained by ICE

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - A Rhode Island neighborhood is preventing for the discharge of a Guatemalan mother who has been detained by immigration government.

The Providence Journal stories that supporters joined Unitarian Universalist minister David Helfer Tuesday to protest for the discharge of 30-year-old Lilian Calderon-Gordillo. The Providence lady used to be detained in Boston when she used to be looking to follow for felony standing by verifying her marriage.

Calderon-Gordillo’s husband, Luis Gordillo, is a U.S. citizen. Calderon-Gordillo got here to the U.S. when she used to be Three-years-old and has lived in Rhode Island for maximum of her existence.
