A 2nd White House staffer has resigned over domestic abuse allegations.
Speechwriter David Sorensen, who labored on the Council on Environmental Quality on the White House, resigned Friday upon being faced via White House officers after questions from the media, stated White House deputy press secretary Raj Shah.
“We immediately confronted the staffer, he denied the allegations and he resigned today,” Mr. Shah stated.
Mr. Sorensen’s resignation follows the departure previous this week of White House personnel secretary Rob Porter, who used to be accused via his two ex-wives of verbal and bodily abuse throughout their marriages.
Both Mr. Sorensen and Mr. Porter have denied the allegations. Mr. Sorensen stated as a substitute that he used to be a sufferer of abuse.
